About this game
A virtual science lab where students drop eggs into salt water, race toy cars, balance see-saws, play water-glass music, bend laser light, build circuits and electromagnets and melt ice, then learn the science and try it at home. Long description Physics Time turns school physics into a lab you can play. Robot Gizmo invites students into a science lab with 28 interactive experiments using everyday objects, from Class 1 to Class 10, arranged in 9 topics: Measurement & Motion: measure a pencil with paper clips and a ruler, weigh fruit on a pan balance, race toy cars with a stopwatch and a distance-time graph, drop a coin and a feather in air and in a vacuum. Force & Laws of Motion: push and pull a shopping trolley (F = m × a), slide a box on ice, carpet and sandpaper, launch a balloon rocket (Newton’s 3rd law). Pressure, Floating & Gravity: press a brick into sand, make an egg float with salt and a foil boat float, weigh 1 kg on the Moon, Mars and Jupiter. Work, Energy & Machines: balance a see-saw with friends and Dad, time a pendulum and build a 2-second pendulum, ride a skate ramp and watch PE turn into KE. Sound: play water-glass music (jal tarang), tune a rubber band guitar on a live sound-wave screen, clap at a wall and measure the speed of sound from the echo. Light: shadow play with a torch, a laser mirror maze, bend light into water and glass to hit a fish, focus a candle with a convex lens, split white light with a prism. Electricity: test keys, coins and pencil lead in a circuit, Ohm’s law with a live V-I graph, fairy lights in series and parallel. Magnetism: a magnet hunt on the table, build an electromagnet that lifts paper clips. Heat: hot tea and steel, wooden and plastic spoons, heat ice to steam on a live heating curve. Every experiment follows the scientific method: Predict: guess what will happen. Experiment: drag, tap and slide the objects to complete three lab missions while live readings update. Learn: the science explained, where you see it in real life, and a Try at Home activity with real objects. Quiz: three questions with explanations. Fast answers and streaks earn more points. Choose your class to see the experiments made for you, play at Explorer, Scientist or Genius level, earn up to 3 stars per experiment and a badge for every topic, and review everything in your Lab Notebook. Works with touch, mouse and keyboard on phones, tablets and computers.
